Wolves, tundra, nudity & the blurry line between fiction and nonfiction
My latest appearance on the Didn't Read It Podcast!
My friend Grace has an excellent podcast called Didn’t Read It, all about classic literature. It’s funny and smart and great to listen to, and sometimes I come on and talk about books with her. This time, we discussed Never Cry Wolf, Canadian author Farley Mowat’s most famous book, which Wikipedia describes as a “fictional account of the author’s subjective experience observing wolves in subarctic Canada.”
The book made a major impact on wolf conservation while blurring the lines between fact and fiction in fascinating and troubling ways.
Hope you enjoy! Check out the other episodes, too, including some fun Christmas-themed ones coming up!
Thanks for reading (and listening), friends. Appreciate you.
